I always wonder why people please others more than they pay attention to themselves. I’ve realized it is because of their fear of rejection, feeling isolated, concerned about satisfying others’ demands, insecurity about self abilities & knowledge, fear of letting their friends and family down, fear of failure .. thinking too negatively.

Conversation of my eight year old nephew and a Red Skins fan at the game:
Nephew: “The Red Skins suck!”
Redskin fan: (looks back at him) “The Red Skins have won the super bowl plenty of times and the Chargers haven’t won one.”
